I’m a huge fan of Havanna alfajores, but you may be wondering, what’s so special about these?
Havanna is a company that was founded in Mar del Plata, south of Buenos Aires, in the 1940s. Since then, the company has been using the same recipe to make its world-famous alfajores. Simply put, there’s just something magical about them.
I fell in love with Havanna alfajores about 10 years ago, and I’ve searched high and low for them in the US. They’re not always easy to find and when you do come across them, they often come at an unreasonably high price. But now, lucky for me and other Havanna fans, Buena Onda Foods is now proudly offering two varieties of Havanna alfajores.
